What is the Irrigation Association?

The Irrigation Association (IA) is a non-profit, North American organization, whose mission is to improve the products and practices used to manage water resources and to help shape the worldwide business environment of the irrigation industry.

What is a Certified Irrigation Designer?

A Certified Irrigation Designer (CID) is an experienced professional who designs irrigation systems and prepares comprehensive installation plans. A CID is qualified by successfully passing a rigorous series of examinations, administered by the IA, covering the full range of irrigation practices and hydraulic principles.
